In addition to simple dinosaur facts, this book includes a table of contents, pronunciation guide, vocabulary help, and a four-word glossary to introduce new readers to nonfiction. The text discusses the familiar T. rex as well as lesser-known species, all of which are portrayed in the dynamic illustrations. The photo of a paleontologist piecing together dinosaur bones is a standout.
