Do you play soccer? Millions of girls and boys spend their free time after school and on weekends playing soccer. Most professional soccer players began their careers playing in town leagues while they were children. Vancouver Whitecap player Alphonso Davies came with his parents to Canada as a refugee. He started playing in the Whitecaps youth training program at age 14. He progressed quickly until he made the team. Davies worked hard. In July 2018 he was signed with the famous German team, FC Bayern Munich. Davies was only 17 years old when Bayern signed him.
